My sweets, my joy! A most extraordinary cat. Not the smartest cat I've known, but easily the most fun. A friend to kids and dogs. Actually, he had more friends than I do.
When I decided to turn all of the critters into indoor only cats, he learned to walk on a lead so we could go for walks together. And then we'd go out without the lead, just hanging out in the yard, or going for short jaunts up the street. Just a couple of weeks ago he was well and agile enough to walk to the end of the block and back.
He's lived with me for more than 21 years, outliving some of his younger siblings, so I can't hardly complain.
