Root Beer Float and her two kittens, Fanta and Pepsi were tragically abandoned. They were found by a Good Samaritan who then brought the little family to us for help. The babies are in a foster home until they're ready to be adopted.
This kitty momma is not only striking with her unique and beautiful markings but is sweet as can be. She's friendly, affectionate, not shy at all and is the perfect little model!

Catober #19 - Dizzy

Dizzy was found on the side of the road along her dead littermates. They believed her to be dead, too, until she lifted her head. When we initially got her, she had severe head trauma and several other injuries. Thankfully, Dizzy, despite her name, has no lasting effects from her injuries. She is a completely normal kitten now. I walked up the street this morning to see if the cedar waxwings were still busily stuffing themselves on my neighbor's crabapple trees. But no, they'd pretty much stripped the trees and moved on to greener pastures. So I resorted to looking for tinges of fall color in the trees I can see from my backyard.
And then, I sketched the tinges of orange creeping into my persimmons in the front yard.
